"The Engine was still untouched but received a 351 GT-40 lower intake and 93’ Mustang Cobra upper intake. Attached to this was an Edelbrock/BBK 70mm Throttle Body. The standard Speed Density EECIV also remained. A hole was cut in the firewall directly in line with the back of the right hand head for the wiring harness. This kept engine bay wiring to a minimum "It’s worth mentioning that the Speed Density system will work fine with most basic airflow changes. It is only when you upset manifold vacuum through using a bigger camshaft with more overlap that you run into problems. The headers were changed to Pacemaker 4-2-1 types, which cleared things better but had shocking head flanges. Some more traction was in order so an LSD centre was added to 3.00:1 diff. ( Back to Index ) "This time the interior received more attention with Stratos seats installed and the rear seat bolstered and trimmed to match. Reproduction GT door trims were added to the picture. I modified the stock instrument panel to accept a full complement of Autometer Pro-Comp gauges. Decibar 80 sound deadening material was then added from the firewall section right back under the front seats. Tar sandwiched sound deadener material was used from the front seats right back to under the rear seat. "Using 18mm and 12mm MDF to form a new rear parcel shelf that contained a brace of two Kef 6x9 Uni-Q speakers and Kef 8" subwoofers. Mounted below these was a pair of Kef crossovers and Sony Amplifier. Supplying the small signals to the Amplifier was a Soundstream head unit working with a Denon DCH-700 5 disc CD operated by a Sounstream wired remote control.
