Now if all Ford station wagons looked this good they'd have to put a limit on how many one person could buy!!! Our friend Brad has been at it again - taking up our challenge to produce the world's first (as of the 1st of Febuary 2001) two door AU Falcon picture - even if it is computer done! It's enough to make you go out and do it (wonder if Hilliers will be getting any orders after seeing this one). Starting with the obligatory stretching of the front doors, Brad has balanced the whole picture out by thickening up the 'C' pillar to suit. Never forgetting to lower the shooting match correctly (that is - as close to the ground as possible) he has also added monster 18" (front) and 20" (rear) versions of Fords AU1 Tickford 17" wheels - managing to look rather like huge Momos instead! Something says Brad has been taking inspiration from Boyd Coddington's XR8 ute (seen elsewhere on our Showcars Page)
And let's not forget that skilful removing of the door handles to produce an uncluttered side view. So before anybody tells you wagons are for families, refer them to this picture and you never know - you might just end up changing their minds. And so what's on next for our avid adventurer? Me thinks I can hear whispers of a ... well - you're just going to have to wait and see!
