Buddha's BA Falcon Cobra & GTHO:

Check this pair out - taking retro to the extreme, Buddha (as he likes to be known) has came up with exactly what everybody has been saying - and done it well too. Starting with Ford's pre-launch promotional shots of the BA GT, Bud created line sketches from which to work giving a unique look even before word go.

BA Falcon COBRA:

Taking inspiration from Ford's 1978 offering of the same name, Bud's creation also starts out with a two-door body shell (ex-Hilliers of course) with it's lowered roof line and longer doors - although this time there ain't no 400 left over to begin with (if only!) Proving that style is ageless, Bud started by merging the XC Coupe's NASA bonnet scoops with the 2003 version following suite at the rear with a Cobra style rear spoiler as well. Widened wheel arches help house the 20" Globes with the traditional blue over white paint making an appearance as well. Lastly, he added Mercedes style mirror blinkers for that added bit of class...

BA Falcon GTHO:

Starting with the four-door body this time, a shaker takes pride of place on top of the XR8's awesome bonnet bulge with the mandatory GT bonnet stripes helping set off what Buddha calls "best GT colour ever: true blue". Giving some concessions to the 21st century, carbon fibre makes it's presence felt on the front spoiler, B-pilliar and rear wing with the same 20" wheels as adorned the Cobra - this time with blue inserts. Finally, Bud' chose to replace the headlights with projector technology for one unique, retro look on the world - and strangely we like it. It may not be for everybody but hey, who cares? Thanks Bud - and we hope you get to build and enjoy your dream Falcon one day...
