Dane's AU2 Forte.

Dane's AU2 Forte:
If all AU Forte's had looked this good, everybody would be driving one!

Produced in 2000, this is one AU2 that doesn't get under-appreciated! Purchased brand new, Dane & his wife spotted it sitting on the dealer's lot wheels and rear spoiler already in place. "We where looking at getting an AU in Galaxy, when we saw a standerd AUII in Monsoon and hated the colour - it was way too dark! But after a week we went back to our Ford dealer and there it was - Monsoon Blue and all - it already had the alloys and rear wing on it!" That's all it took to change Dane's mind and together they haven't looked back since...

Wearing 17x8 CSA Gladiators right from the very start, it took Dane a year to grow tired of the 4wd stance finally lowering the whole show 2" with dramatic improvements in both looks and handling! Next came the 2.5" ESA mandrel-bent system with extra resonator fitted to keep it nice and quiet - giving a "nice, low rumble without the cabin drone" - something Dane was extremely keen to avoid.

According to Dane there are still a few things to go before his ride is finished, and by the time this article hits the website the windows should have been tinted and a cold air intake - including custom filter set up and intake ducting to the throttle body - fitted. With a body kit and air-brushed business logo on the side to come some time in the near future, we look forward to seeing updates as they come to hand! With a business name such "ARMAGEDDON" who knows what the future holds?
