Sent in by avid fan Dane, this masterful transformation represents his second effort at digital alterations (you can check out his first by going to Dane's T3 Coupe) and by jingo this bloke just keeps going from strength to strength! Beginning with Ford's original promotional photo of the 'Mako' limited edition Falcon ute, Dane reset the altitude to a more optical friendly ride height quickly blowing out Ford's original wheels from an anemic 16" (anemic for this page that is!) to a more satisfactory 19" in diameter - which prompts the question - why the heck hasn't someone made them in this size yet?

The front number plate was deleted for that smooth uninterrupted look (unfortunately not possible in real life - but who cares hey?) followed by the less obvious but more practical conversion of the two-piece canopy side glass into a single gull-wing upwards opening section with hidden locking mechanism. Not missing any small detail he then converted the amber side blinker repeaters into white ones off of a Fairmont for a small but worth while difference. Next came the obligatory merging of the tray and cab to form a true utility once again. Phew! And is if that wasn't enough, for the real piece de'resistance Dane finished the whole lot off with a trick conversion of the red original paint to the AU3 T-series' 'Blueprint' colour scheme - all in all a sensationally well thought out project ready to go for the next bunch of big waves down at your local hangout...
