Dreamtech's latest creation!

Whatever you do - don't quickly write this off as another cleverly executed BA Coupe Artiste'! Sent in by James Ware - Manager of Dreamtech International, coachbuilders in Melbourne - these images represent the culmination of years of hard work and intense brain storming. And despite it's obvious similarities to the Hillier Bros Coupe, this one is all Dreamtech from concept development to design - right through to prototyping and final production - with some important differences from the Tenterfield based operation. Like the roof, that sits closer to Ford's sedan based sports sedans from which it takes it's roots - all great for those of us with a few more inches of height than the average!

See the bottom of the page for Contact
Details!
Despite the higher roof line, the overall effect is to add a surprising level of "masculinity" to it's stance - perhaps even more so than it's lower-roofed NSW based rivals. At close enough to $90,000 drive-away for your base level XR8 (price includes a brand new XR8 delivered straight from Ford) it ain't cheap but with production limited to 25 cars per year, you know your exclusivity is going to be assured no matter what!!! And if that isn't exclusive enough for you, Dreamtech will convert a brand new GT, GT-P or even a Dick Johnson / Herrod modified Falcon on request - although with POA.

Rear spoiler & wheels optional...but
what a look!
"We don't convert cars as such, but supply the complete vehicle, brand new, complianced and ready to go." says James. All of the Ford Options are available including sunroof, sat nav or leather - as well as any other your heart may desire (restricted by the Ford catalogue of course)! "We also offer custom paint - as we repaint the whole car during the conversion - extra low suspension, supercharging, 19 inch wheels and more." And according to James, Ford still warrant anything that wasn't touched during the conversion - with Dreamtech picking up the warranty on everything else.

The END. Well, almost...(keep reading)
And while that may seem a lot to be paying for any Falcon Coupe, when you consider the work that has to be done to get it that way it all of a sudden seems very cheap! Starting with the base car (vehicles are "built to order" so delivery time varies depending on Ford's stock available at the time) new doors, new rear quarters and new door / rear interior trims must be built from scratch. Then the front seats must be converted to fold forward! When you add to that the cost of the paint and all of a sudden for the work completed and effect achieved, the extra really isn't that much at all!
And with word getting around pretty quickly, Dreamtech hasn't had any trouble at all filling it's order books with a 9 month delivery schedule at the time of receiving this information - giving you just enough time to save your pennies for a unique experience that isn't going to go out of date with the changing of models!
