AU Model Specifications - summarised version
This section of the website is designed to tell you a little about what each AU Falcon would have been equipped with from the factory as well as letting you know what accessories were available. As each model passes from being current to second hand and beyond this information becomes harder and harder to find and hearsay is often all you have to go by. This can leave a dilemma for the used car shopper, with used car salespeople trying all their usual dirty tricks. For example - ever seen “Fully optioned” advertised with a big long list of features - only to realise that the dealer has simply listed the factory standard equipment for that vehicle?
Or here’s another dilemma you might be facing - “Which car should I really be shopping for?” i.e. - which Falcon meets your needs best? Or maybe just for curiosity - for what ever reason, I hope these pages meet your needs. And if for any reason they do not, please write so I may further produce the pages people are after or perhaps answer that difficult-to-answer question!
These pages of “Falcon/Fairlane/LTD” are designed to answer your questions, listing a summary of all of the equipment available on each AU Falcon model while also providing links to a more technical description and summary if you should require. Further I have included photos to help you identify the Falcon model you are looking at. You can even email me if you feel you have info that you would like to see added!
