Goran's Masterpiece: EL Perfection!
Sent in by Goran, this XR8 personifies the attitude we'd all like to see in our personal transport - if only the laws of physics could be somehow bent! Not too bad for a young bloke who's only 16 - it's nice to know the future is in such capable hands... Allowing it to sit so low of course is a full air bag suspension system allowing a quick lift if the need arises to do anything more than just sit and pose (that is if you could beat off the admiring crowds). Keeping the faith are massive 25" monster wheels with rubber band liquorice strips - none too practical but who really cares? Helping keep an eye on the mayhem going on underneath the bonnet are of course those three perfectly arranged chrome instruments mounted on the bonnet. With the motor and rear suspension taken from a wrecked Mustang this thing goes pretty hard too.
Paint. Did somebody mention paint? Try a new custom mix managing to blurr the lines and bend all of the rules between a deep purple and black providing the most magnificent effects in low light... Suiting the new colour and adding to that alien look are the green side indicators - made out of a new material that changes colours when current is passed through it to allow the transition to amber when the need arises. Taking inspiration from the EL Predator of 1998 comes the purple window tint to match the paint and a violet leather interior stretched over the original EL XR8 seats.
In short, we love it!
