Grant sent these photos of his awesome looking Landau for all to see and who are we to refuse such class? Unfortunately, as Grant forgot to include any more details than that, this is all we can tell you about his pride and joy.
The Landau was Ford Australia's first (and unfortunately last) super luxury coupe based on the Falcon coupe. With LTD front sheet metal, hidden headlights and LTD leather interior, subtile other sheet metal changes (half-filled in rear side windows, different tail light panel to match LTD full width tail lights) and the best of everything as far as the 1970's was concerned - this is one seriously desirable coupe! And that's before you get to considering that it has full GT running gear - including a high performance 351 Cleveland V8 (5.8 litres) and disc brakes all round - a rarity in locally built Fords or Holdens of the time. Rumour has it that a few even copped ultra rare Phase 4 bits as Ford sought to use it's now useless stock pile of GTHO bits and pieces due to the Supercar scare (but that's another story).

Due to their relative rarity as well as top notch status, Laundau's have become a highly collectable item with the performance of a GT and luxury to boot. Thanks Grant for allowing us to drool a little over these pics!
