There aren't enough superlatives to describe what we think of this - what we consider to be John's best creation to date! Rather than just follow the usual methods and do a two-door conversion using the sedan's or even a slightly lowered roof line, John chose to throw the lot away starting from scratch in a way that emulates many of the latest custom styles from the 'States fitting sleeker roof lines to otherwise chunky 60's shapes.
And just how perfect are those wheels and dinner plate performance brakes? Keeping things clean John has looked after even the smallest of details removing the usual XR badges from the rocker mouldings in a way that looks so good it could end up starting a trend... It's enough to make you want to go out and visit the Hillier Bros cheque book in hand!!!
