Stand in awe - you are looking at ancient history here - produced when the EF was still in production, this EF is not unfortunately a prototype for the real thing but was instead the creation of Ford devotee Luke. Considering the imaging software available at the time we think he's done an awesome job almost good enough to fool you into believing the real thing actually existed! That is until you spot the incorrect sedan pilliar on the other side of the car that is...oops!

Saved from the scrap heap only via a photocopied picture of the original artwork (hence the grainy B&W finish) you can see how good this once looked in all of it's original glory - complete with almost every option under the sun. Starting with an EF Fairmont with factory body kit, Luke carefully grafted in the XR headlights for a look we all wish the EL GT had. Next came the XR bonnet vents sunken into the Fairmont bonnet followed by the careful addition of Fairlane turning lamps into the lower bumper. Did you notice that rear wing? We did - making the original item look like a stick on decal! Finally came that all important deletion of one set of doors and hey presto! If only Luke was on the design team way back in '94...
Thanks Luke - and now all we have to wonder is who's going to be the first to construct the real thing?
