Paul's AUseries1 XR Wagon:

It looks like an XR wagon - but everybody knows AU Falcons never came as XR's! - Or did they? Unfortunately this is not going to be a story about the one that got away - but is impressive all the same. Starting with a AU2 wagon, Binks Ford quickly got to adding the XR bonnet as well as series 1 nose cone to create a distinctive look that Ford should have brought out but never did! "I needed a wagon for work, but I wanted something different to stand out - as I am a car detailer. They told me they don't make the wagon XRs, only SRs - so I told them I'm prepared to pay any extra cost to make it happen, and this is the final results - I'm pretty happy with it."

Sounds good enough to us - sort of a Clayton's XR eh? Unfortunately that's as many details as Paul gave us, so we'll have to leave the rest up to your imagination. Great to see another wagon cherished beyond the norm - thanks go to Paul for sharing this one with us and for making the roads a much more attractive place to be...
