This picture is a copy of a poster that was displayed at the 1999 Tickford Open Day and forms one of a collection that were submitted during the design process of the AU Falcon series I. It looks like the artist here has taken their inspiration from the Futura especially in the grill department – thank God this one never made it! The use of the previous model’s headlights is an interesting feature (not a good one for after dark performance driving though) and the curious above headlight vents would have been interesting – yuk! But it’s all personal taste – what do you think?
