This is one of Tomislav Vatavuk’s creations from photos found in Ford’s Ute brochures – as he says “They way FORD should have made 'em.” Seems Ford didn’t really need to send one of it’s utes to Boyd Coddington after all (see “News Front”, Street Machine magazine in it’s August 2000 issue). Tommi could have done the artwork right here in Australia! Anyway – I liked them (got me drooling) – see what you think.
Picture 1 is a XLS Falcon Ute with the following cyber modifications:
- Gap between tray and cabin filled in.
- All tonneau clips removed.
- Lowered dramatically (that’s a bit of an understatement isn’t it?)
- Stock Tickford wheels increased to about 19 inches diameter.
(Kind of makes you wish they
made these wheels in this size doesn’t it?)
Top work Tommi! Looking forward to
seeing your next work...so now who’s going to build this?
