18th Australian Street Rod Nationals Subject description: Easter 2007 |

The 18th Australian Street Rod Nationals are being held at Goulburn NSW, this Easter, thurs 5th to mon 9th. You can go to their site now to buy raffle tickets to be in the running to win a 1936 Ford Custom Coupe, worth $65.000.00, the car is drawn over the Easter event, have a look it is an excellent car. Damn - missed this thread (with my current schedule there have been a few) - probably should have been posted in 'events'...oh well, next time...
- I have been to a couple when they were in Geelong and can testify these are a ripper deal - almost as good as the Summernats! Rods as far as they eye can see - boy those guys have got taste. And to make it even better, most of them are Fords!!!
One interesting observation from the couple of times I went was the number of 60's Falcons amongst the mix - vs. very few early Holdens. Good to see the boys know how to appreciate class...
But if you are reading this you probably missed the show! Oh well, better start planning for next year - by now there's gunna be one very very happy 36' owner out there

Hello Duggy, I have posted a few "events" like this one, and if you look in the blender there is not too much responce, as in replies but, a lot of reads, should I be posting events on this page, silly question, in the future I will post in this section, sorry. this event is held every Easter and goes for about five days.

The reason there aren't too many posts in here is because I renamed a section that was already here but didn't have too many topics in it!
After seeing your post, I looked down the topics list and realized that somehow a 'General Events' area had slipped off the face of the earth, but now here it is back again! Had a few troubles a couple of months back in this regard, I hope this is the last of the repairs required...
