Well you all wanted to see them, these were taken as it was coming off the tilt tray in the old V8 Paddock. The photo of the front left shows the impact force (the wheels are magnesium!). Good to see a Holden out, Bad to see the size of the hit, Good to see he walked away!

wow those pics really show how hard a hit it was!!!

to break magnesium like that requires a fair amount of force, although it is interesting to see how undamaged some parts of the car are, the windscreen doesnt even appear cracked (the the loads from driving the v8supercas over ripple strips, curbs etc sometimes even crack them!!)

its a testament to how well made safety wise the cars are now!!

I'd say they do, seeing as they don't sell HOLDENS, which is good for them! But it does go to show you how far we have come in not just V8 safety but Motorsport safety in general, look at some of the stuff the WRC boys have been walking away from lately!
