Well done to the Ford drivers that came in in second to fourth positions.
Actually it was 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th!

Congrats to Seton and Lowndes for taking Second place and to Bowe and Jones for taking third place.
I think Lowndes really deserved his podium finish. He tries so hard and the car perpetually lets him down. As sad as it is, I think he'd be much happier if he was still driving his Commodore (well that's if the Holden executives didn't kick him out).

The last Ford vehicle to win Bathurst was in 1998. An EL Falcon! Maybe many us many EL owners should each lend some of the Ford teams a car next year. (Well as long as they promise to stay away from walls and roos!)

Memories of hitting a Roo on the Nullabor, in June, are a bit too fresh for me. Especially the smell of blood on the car. :( :( :(

Oh yeah, and the $2500 damage bill.

Bathurst is just race - a damn enjoyable one. At the end of the day they all race in this championship to be NUMBER 1 and have that on their door -- give holden their 6 Bathursts in row - Ambrose is still the Reining Champion and still leads the Championship - Ive already forgotten who won Bathurst? was some kiwi and a kid whose balls are yet to drop i think. AMBROSE - BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONSHIPS!!

Yeah, I was basing those on NSW times, but I also did say...

It looks like you Victorianites missed out on the early morning stuff. I can't remember what was on then, either it wasn't too important or alcohol had its effects.
