Yep - it has finally come to fruition! Consider this thread the 'tent' while the real house is being built behind closed doors - where one-by-one you will see the pages revealed as they are completed.

Apart from being the first new HUB content in a very, very long time - you will notice a number of new things about these pages including a new look and some useful extra features here and there.

We welcome your feedback & comments as they are developed - so with no further ado, I bring to you the first of our series covering the ED FALCON:

 :!: The ED GLi Specifications page!

 :!: The ED Futura Specifications page!

 :!: The ED Fairmont Specifications page!

 :!: The ED Fairmont GHIA Specs page!

 :!:ED Sedans Image GALLERY!

Also - see the following PRESS RELEASE regarding this historic event:

Quote:
News from Trueblueford: historic page unveiling begins a detailed look at the ED Falcon.

When most unveilings are about new cars just being introduced to the public, Trueblueford has gone to the other end of the scale and rather than go new or newer - is actually going older!

Known across the net for it's detailed and accurate coverage of the EF, EL & AU series 1 Falcons (including what set them apart one from another), the release of the first new Specifications Pages in over four years is an event not to be overlooked...and promises to be the first of many.

But rather than just starting where they left off, the team at Trueblueford have chosen to go for a completely new look in a move that is set to significantly raise the standard for all new pages to come. And then there's the new features included to increase the usefulness of each page - but we'll leave you to discover them for yourselves (we can't give away everything before you check it out!)

Trueblueford as an information source is well respected and quoted right across the web - so this latest release promises to be something special for novices and fanatics alike...

This is a watershed day for TBF.

Another great resource for Falcon owners to draw from and it is right here at TrueBlueFord.com.

:D :D :D :D

Well, we've done it again - with only a week having passed by since our last release we've proven it was not a one-off, with the ED Futura pages being released tonight as part of our continued roll-out of new information...

So I've just updated the initial post with the new page details (page found at http://trueblueford.com/ed_pages/EDfalcon_futura.html ) :

Press Release:

Quote:
TBF does it again & moves the needle one little bit further:

Fresh from the release of it's first significant new content in nearly four years, the admin team of TBF have been hard at work providing you with the material we know you love to look at - taking the significant second step to reveal the ED Futura Specification pages.

Designed to make it easy to know what each Falcon came with - whether in deciding what Falcon to buy, or in locating those important components required for upgrading yours, or maybe in just finding the info required to win that bet with the blokes at work or down at the pub - TBF has it all...

So stay tuned as we bring you more important pages covering the ED Falcon - and work toward what comes next...

Lookin great, I was hoping something like this was in the works.

Anyway, maybe check the links, these are the ones I found that didn't work:
~ Some of the index internal links (obviously tags aren't in place yet!)
~ The TBF Challenge link
~ Fuel economy discussion link
~ Gearbox & driveline section, link to discussion on LSD
~ Suspension section, link to discussion on station wagon leaf springs

These are all in the Futura page, I didn't have time to check the GLi page. Will do that tonight, if you want.

Like to repeat Shane's thanks - somehow these (and a few others as well) had slipped under the radar - they should be fixed now. Although we do our best to ensure things like this do not happen, we rely on our members to tear it apart for the details we might have missed! So thanks once again...

Doesn't worry me where the replies go ATM, one or the other will do. The reason for having the two is that this thread has a 'used-by' date as it will become redundant once the ED hub is built. Or, as is included in the introduction to this thread:

Quote:
Consider this thread the 'tent' while the real house is being built behind closed doors

Well, we've done it again - with the third in our series looking at the ED Falcon, this time with the ED Fairmont (I am surprised nobody has asked for the ED XR6 yet!).

So we need your feedback, your comments - good or bad - does it make the grade? So spread the word around - www.trueblueford.com is back on the ball like the glory days of old...

3 new major pages inside of a month - you've gotta be excited about that - I know we are!
