 Post subject: hand brake adjustment

my handbrake is just a bit loose. how do i adjust it and make it tighter?

there are 2 ways to adjust. Remove the boot covering the handbrake lever, use a 10mm deep throat socket and tighten the nut. If that doesnt fix you will need to adjust the handbrake inside the rear brake drums.

Some say remove the wheel and there is a rubber grommet in the disc, spin the wheel around and you will be able to use a brake adjuster/smallish screwdriver to adjust them...
