Held on Sunday, 23rd of September, the Kedron All Ford Day (Brisbane - so named because it is held at the Kedron Sports Club) was attended by our very own 'itsdamafia', who we have to thank for the sensational photos below!  To discuss this event or the photos beneath, CLICK HERE.

Above: How cool is this T-bird?  Not my personal favourite new, the owner of this particular example has all the right moves improving this ugly duckling no end.  Shaved door handles, Appleton spots, billet bonnet vent inserts, 'phantom' paint, chrome headlight covers, airbags - I love it!

Above: Ahhh - those classic tail lights...and you've just gotta love that stance!  The 60's was such a great era stylistically, George Jetson eat your heart out!  You can almost imagine them retracting inwards to expose two rocket boosters spurting flame can't you?

Above: What do you add up to create interest after something like THAT?  Hmmm - a wild violet XY Fairmont GS should do the job...superbly restored with factory creme vinyl interior, redwalls, optional GT mirror, correct spec hub-caps (first seen on the XR GT) - hmmm, deliscious!

Above: Going straight onto the late models, Dan's photography manages to capture a great angle of this EB Falcon GT in Cobalt Blue - stock as a rock but how can anybody resist when it looks as good as this?

Above: While we are talking late models, it's easy to understand anybody wanting to purchase one of THESE!  270kW and the fastest factory built Australian Ford for 2005, 2006 and 2007 the Typhoon makes for one very compelling argument...

Above: Finishing off the last of the tech-mobiles (for now anyway!) is this classic shot of a RS2000 Cosworth Sierra, the same as was raced rather successfully in Group A at the time...  From memory, DJR had a black one of these at the time in use as a road car!  Anybody?

Above
: Ahhh, Mad Max anybody?  The classic XA couple looks as good today as it did then - even if the only vehicle that could feasibly get away with wearing a vynal roof and retaining it in 2007 is a genuine GT (okay, so maybe also a LTD) !  Even then it's gotta have you tempted to rip it off doesn't it?  Still, fortunately, it's not enough to ruin the style...

Above: While not recognised as well as the XY GT, the XW is every bit as lively and perhaps even more so in some variants!  And who can go past an example looking as good as this?

Above: It's a fairly simply formula that works every time - bright almost flourescent colour, offset it with a dash of semi-gloss black here and there, add some bling-bling (large diameter billets) complimented with plenty of chrome under the bonnet and walla!

Thanks again to 'itsdamafia' for submitting these pics, and we look forward to the next set!  To discuss this event or the photos beneath, CLICK HERE.
