INTRODUCTION: Running from the 27th Feb 2008 until the 8th March, the 2008 Melbourne International Motor Show was a memorable one from an Australian Falcon fan's point of view - with the first "new" generation Falcon being released in almost a decade.  Right up there with releases such as the XR Falcon of 1966, XA of 1972, XD of 1979 and EA of 1988, we are yet to see how history will remember the slightly awkwardly named FG.

With the majority of Ford's other featured vehicles being either imports (yawn - I am sure you can see them elsewhere on the net) or unchanged since last year, we have restricted our coverage to the FG Falcon.  For those who are slightly lost as to the new Falcon names, the G6E replaces the Fairmont Ghia, the F6 is the F6 Typhoon without the emotion attached to it - and well, the others - I'm sure you'll figure them out...hope you enjoy!
