While most will be retained by the push-fit of the inlet & new seal, DO NOT forget to install the clip or you'll be pulling the pan off to do it all over again..

Above: The clip goes on - not as easy as it sounds! Watch your hands for slippseys! OIL PAN INSTALLATION: Okay, first up it's time to ensure the mounting face is nice and clean ensuring the best possible seal once the pan is put back in place - so time to give it a wipe & a quick inspection:
Once the oil pan is clean & straight you'll need to apply a thin film of grease or Vaseline to the new rubber gasket allowing it to self align slightly on installation - rather than grabbing on the surface and ending up kinked... ( To ask questions relating to this document, CLICK HERE. )
